Rumble in the Rocks (right side) by ilumpruj
This painting is part of a triptych I made for school. My least favorite from all the works I’ve done but most proud of finding a new technique (new to me, old to real painters) to use to create marks on a canvas. It took me 4 nights to do this and I guess it was worth the time. Rumble in the Rock’s style was inspired by Japanese Art. Years ago till the present, the Japanese were very fond on making seasonal imagery to express “essential truths of the of human experience.”
